It’s 10am on a Monday morning and I’m already tired. I am not sure how but 2019 was a long, psychologically trying year for all of us. While I wrote a LOT of the Dragon’s Grail series (five books! written!) back in 2018, I was simply unable to face editing them, publishing them, acknowledging them. It seems the more I publish, the more uncertain I am of what I want my career as an author to look like.

That is a lot of complaining, I know, and I understand it is not what you are here for! There was one lesson from 2019 that is very important for me: I must be true to myself.

This includes being a fangirl, staying single, caring for my dog, and writing the stories I want to write in the ways I want to write them. I’m navel gazing about this over on my personal blog a bit (as I intend to keep this site about my stories and not my insecurities, ha ha. Ha. Ha. You can also find me meandering around twitter a lot, facebook less.

What this all means for my stories though is that I am learning to embrace my need to thread optimism and hope through the stories I write. Maybe I cannot solve all the problems of the world but I don’t want to add to them.

Anyway, expect a lot more interaction from me during 2020, and the continuation of Dragon’s Grail in a totally new format! Stay tuned!
